Lingopass publishes ESG framework for its Empowering Talents® program
Lingopass and Instituto Lingopass have released two public documents that formalize the social impact framework behind the Empowering Talents® program: the ESG Commitment and the Theory of Change.
Both documents are now available in English and can be downloaded at lingopass.com.br/impacto-esg.
The publications were developed to support partners that operate with formal impact assessment standards — including corporations with ESG commitments, public institutions, multilateral organizations, and social impact investors.
The materials document how the Lingopass ecosystem connects commercial growth with social inclusion through a structured 4×1 model: for every four corporate licenses contracted, one scholarship license is donated to a learner from an underrepresented group.
Language as access infrastructure
The Empowering Talents® program is based on a simple premise: language proficiency is infrastructure for opportunity.
Across Brazil and Latin America, millions of young people remain excluded from formal employment and international careers because they lack access to language education. This barrier disproportionately affects vulnerable populations — including refugees, youth from urban peripheries, women entering STEM careers, and professionals transitioning to the formal economy.
Through Instituto Lingopass, these learners gain access to adaptive language training, AI-powered simulations, and internationally recognized CEFR certification pathways.
The initiative currently operates with support from organizations such as UNHCR (ACNUR), AWS, Endeavor, and Cubo Itaú.
What the documents contain
ESG Commitment — Instituto Lingopass
Describes the 4×1 model mechanics, scholarship structure (6 months of full platform access), program governance and partnership obligations, and documented ESG impact cases — including SENAI Nacional, Rosewood São Paulo, Atento Brasil, Fundação Behring, and Sfera Futebol Clube.
Empowering Talents® — Theory of Change
Presents the full impact logic model connecting inputs, activities, outputs, and long-term economic outcomes. Three target populations: vulnerable youth, women in STEM from public universities, and refugees/asylum seekers. Aligned with SDGs 4, 5, 8, and 10. Long-term goal: 2 million learners by 2027.
